Experiencing God

God is so amazing. When I was addicted to porn I felt like God was trying to pull me back but the devil had a stronger grip. I could tell God was telling me to come back but I didn't care at all. There were times where It felt like God was there even when I was looking at porn. Even though I grew up in a Christian home I really didn't believe in God because I thought that he would never forgive me of what I had done. When my grandma passes away that's when God put it on my heart to start thinking about where I was with him. When I got fired from my job I just realized that like a job you could be gone the next day. I wanted to give my life to God because I wanted to know if I were to die tomorrow that I would be in heaven. Then after I lost my job I prayed and prayed that I would find my special some one. A week after I received God I went on christian mingle and paid $30 to find some one. A day after I did that I saw a profile that when I saw it I had to talk to her. After that night if talking we set a date to go out. After that date we decided to start dating. Then a week after that I asked her to marry me. When we where dating God put it on my mind to ask Amanda to marry. So I did ask Amanda and she said yes. God Is so amazing he had this in his mind and told me that this was my last relationship. I give her the love she never had and she does the same for me. She is such a blessing to me. She is so awesome and shows me how special I am to her and I do the same to her. I just love Amanda so much that I can't wait to marry her.

Relationships

So my past relationships were not that good at all. At first they seemed good. Some were really nice and some really sucked. In some of my past relationships my girlfriends did not respect me at all and they were using me. I have had 6 relationships since I was in 6th grade. The longest one I had lasted 6 months and that relationship was really good but after like the 5 month I could tell that she wasn't that interested in me at all. She was just using me after that and she wouldn't comfort me when I was in pain. There were times when I was in really bad pain and none of my past girlfriends wood comfort me. After my last relationship I didn't want to date just because I felt like I would never find my special someone. So I spent 3-4 years being single it was nice at times but most of the time it sucked. Because I had no one to share my day with besides my family. When I was working at radio shack I thought to myself and said that I didn't have time for a girlfriend. But when I got fired from my job I really started thinking about dating again. So after I got fired God really put it on my heart to go and find a girl to date. So I went on to christian mingle and paid the $30, after I paid it the next day I went on and saw I ever beautiful young women. So after I saw the picture God was saying to me Grant this is the girl I want you to be with. So after that I started talking to her and we talked for like over 2 hours and in the 2 hours I asked her out on a date. She said yes and we decided that Friday would be our first date. When I went to go pick up Amanda I was nervous but when I got out of the car and rang the door bell and I saw her I wasn't nervous anymore. It was like God was there with me and took my nervousness away. When I first looked at her I was like wow she is really gorgeous I was really excited that God got us together. On our first date we decided that we would start dating. So after our first date I was going to drop her off when I asked if I could come to her house and she said yes. After that moment I knew that we would be together. Then like not even 2 weeks later I asked her to marry me and she said yes. I just really can't say how excited I am that I decided to start looking again and just having my trust in God. So know it has been almost a month and I have to say that I am the happiest guy in the world I love Amanda so much. She is truly a blessing to me just because she is God driven and that is really hard to find in women now days. I really can't wait to marry her she is everything I wanted in a women we also have alot in common which is really awesome. My entire family likes her to which to me is such a plus. Even when I am away from her I think of her everyday and there are days when I will just tear up thinking about her. She is so loving and caring it is such a blessing since I am in pain a lot she really wants it to get better. She also listens when no other girl has done that for me. When I am crying she comforts me and wants to make me feel better. I never had a girlfriend do that for me. God really does give us a second chance when we do screw up I feel new again. I also feel like a virgin again even tough I did have sex before I was married. It is so nice that Amanda forgives me of that and what I have done in the past and I do forgive her of what she has done in the past to. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

Falling in love

From the moment I saw Amanda's picture I new that she was going to be awesome. After we talked I truly could see that she was God driven. I never thought I would have found a God driven girl. God really showed me that there is someone out there for everybody. I have had 7 girlfriends in the past but none of them have loved me like Amanda has. Every single day makes me love her more even when were not with each other I know I can trust her. Which I have had problems in the past. But since I received God I can trust her because God is telling me that this is the one for you. We are coming up on our 1 month anniversary and I can say that this has been the best month in my life. I can't wait to marry her. It is also exciting that my parents are really excited for me and so is my entire family is. God really really does give people second changes. Even when I was away from God I could feel him trying to get me to come back to him. It really was a struggle in the past 5 years of being addicted to porn but in the past year I could feel God telling me this was wrong. After I quit I have never felt better. It is also really a blessing that Amanda excepts me even though I was addicted in the past. When I think how she loves me so much I really tear up and almost cry. Just be cause she is so loving and caring. I can't wait to marry her. This journey together is going to be so awesome. Praise God for brining Amanda into my life and for forgiving me of all my sins.

Getting Engaged

So on December 18 2011 I got engaged to the most beautiful fiance. It is truly a blessing to have her in my life. God has really showed me that he gives people a second chance. I never thought that I would have found such a awesome girlfriend and fiance. Amanda just really loves me for who I am even though I had done really bad things in the past. We all fall short of the glory of God but he picks us up. In the past 3 weeks God has really brought Amanda and I closer and closer each day. Amanda and I have also grown closer to God every day. God is just doing awesome things in my life right now it is so awesome. It really makes me happy when every one is excited for Amanda and I. I just can't wait to see what God has in store for us as we get married. I have never felt this loved from a girlfriend. She really shows me how a girlfriend is supposed to love. It is also awesome that she is understanding that I'm in pain and that she wants to help me in my pain. No one has ever done this for me. I have never felt this close to a girlfriend before. When I just think about us it really makes me tear up. God really is just so amazing that he can take someone like me and make me new again. Even when I'm away from Amanda I always think about her and just praise God every day for her. I can't wait to tell more people of our story. It is so awesome for people that don't know God to really say they can see God working in our lives.

Finding god

In the past 3 weeks I gave my life over to god. When I was let go from my job i realized that even if you think that you are safe you are not. Just like you are in life you could be having the best day of your life then the next day you can be gone. So that is why I gave my life over to Christ because I want to know if i were to die tomorrow I would be in heaven and not hell. He has been doing some awesome things in my life since I received him into my heart. First he has brought me and my brother closer than we have ever before which is really special to me. The past couple of years I was looking for my special someone and I was just getting hurt by my exs. So I decided to stop dating, but then 3 weeks ago when I received him into my heart I could tell he was telling to me start looking again for my special someone. So I Joined a couple of dating sites which one of them is christian mingle. I talked to some people on there but it seemed like god was saying theses aren't for you I have one already in my mind for you. So on last Monday I went back on to the site and I saw this beautiful girl. From that instance god says Grant this is the one I want you to talk to and have a relationship with. So I Started talking with her and then after we were talking for a while I decided to ask her out so I did. After Monday we talked on the phone on Tuesday for almost 4 hours which I have never done before but I could tell god was saying talk to her more and just get to know her. So we had our date on Friday and we both decided to start dating since god brought us together. After our first date I felt really good and awesome that there is a girl out there for my that likes me for who I am. I brought her to church with me on Sunday and had a good time then I told my pastor about what I did and he was really shocked. I really liked telling other people my story and our story. I can see that me and Amanda are growing closer to each other even though its only been like 4 days but god is really working in our lives. He will continue to do great things in our lives and I just praise got that I could meat such wonderful person.

Apple

I am getting sick and tired of apple suing all the phone makers. Apple just needs to leave everyone alone. Just because it may do somethings as the iphone. They should just leave the other guys alone there just afraid that palm and htc will beat them in sales. Apple just needs to stay out of all this crap because people wont want to buy apple anymore.

Christmas

I know this may sound weird that I want it to be christmas. But christmas is so awesome with all the lights and the tree. Plus just the way people are there very nice than all the other times. But I would say the best part about this time of year. Is I just love spending time with my family cause every one in my family is so awesome. The best part is on christmas day and eve when you spend the entire night and the next day with the people you love. Even if you don't have money for a gift the best gift is just the love you give people. I've always loved christmas morning when you wake up and your parents are already up waiting for you to open your gifts. But christmas isn't christmas unless there is snow on the ground. The main reason of christmas is the celebrate the birth of jesus.

Modern muscle cars

The new modern muscle cars are nice but some of them really just aren't that great. The new dodge charger is not a good muscle car at all dodge didn't even make it look like the original. They could have made it a 2 door instead of the stupid 4 door. Now there new challenger is one of the best looking modern muscle cars out there. It looks exactly like the old one did but it also weights like 4000lb so it isnt light at all. The new mustang is nice but I just don't like the frontends on them at all. But the rearends of the mustang looks awsome and from the side it looks nice. But ford needs to but a motor in there with more horsepower. Because right now the 2010 mustang only has 315hp when the challenger has 420hp and the charger has 375hp and the camaro has 426hp. So ford really need a better motor to compete with dodge and chevy. Now the new camaro is by far the best new modern muscle car out there. Yes the challenger looks like the original but the new camaro stands out from the other 3. The frontend of the new camaro looks like the 69 I also like the interior it has the 4 gagues on the centeral console just like the 69 did.

Abortion

When people talk about abortion it makes me sick how they say that is ok to kill an unborn child. It is not ok to kill an unborn child because the fetus is a living being. Honestly if you have an abortion you are considered a murder cause you killed an inoccent life. The baby has all the reason in the world to live if the person doesnt want to keep the baby then give it up for adaption.

Swine flu

Swine flu really isnt that bad as they say it is. There are 300 million people in the U.S. and they are worrying about this. Now if maybe like 500,000 people did have it then it is a different story. It is also getting annoying when they are closing schools because of this they shouldnt close the schools unless alot of kids are calling in sick. If your kid is sick then just call them in instead of having the entire school being closed. The only death of this was a mexican child from Mexcio. That was visiting people in texas so they really cant say that one person died in the us when the person wasnt a U.S. citizen. I'll worry about it if more people get infected with it.
